In MMORPG games, there are many people who try to get ahead by dishonest means, cheating and stealing from other players. This article aims to arm you with enough knowledge to avoid the well known scams. Be aware of them!

The main article contains hard and fast ways you should act and things you should know to avoid being scammed. See the separate sub-articles for in-depth explanations and less common scams.

Trust[ | ]

We recommend that you trust only in your family members or people that you know personally, because in such games as Cabal, people aren't always what they look like.

Level[ | ]

Always make sure when items with levels (Eg: Discs lvl3), make sure you check the item level due to the huge amount of people that buy discs lvl 1 because the said that they were level 3/2...

Account Scam[ | ]

If somebody says that he/she wants to view your account and must give your password say no because they will take it and change also its pass. They will first try to say that your character is good looking and they want to see it. Don't believe it!! The Guild Master of the Delirium is one of them. So don't believe!! hahahaha lol

Don't wait for an item[ | ]

Some players will promise you they will give you the item after a few minutes, since they have to switch account or something. Do not believe them. Only give them your money when they can give you the items right away, or else they can wait for their money also. As soon as you give someone the money first before you get your items you run a very high risk of being scammed.

Always watch the price at the NPCs[ | ]

There are people, who want to sell things like an Amulet of Guard +3 or HP potions etc. for a very high price, however, these items can be purchased at an NPC. So watch out, and don't believe when someone says that for example a Genius Amulet is a very rare thing and worth a million (it's 42400 alz at Yerte or Soyoung)!!!

Girls of Cabal[ | ]

Remember now, this is just a game. Even though they look like a girl does NOT mean they are one. They will try things like dancing, taking their armor off, and even talk dirty to you to make you drop items. Don't be a fool. =)

Don't pvp if u don't want to[ | ]

This is my personal experience where i saw a scammer actually told another person he/she is out of return stone, and asks that person to pvp him/her so that the character dies and return to town, obviously later the scammer killed the other player character.
